The MK2.5 Bullpup Chassis combines the proven accuracy and popularity of a Remington 700 long action with the improved balance and overall length characteristics of a bullpup rifle. Typically hindered by poor ergonomics or triggers, the MK2.5 Bullpup Chassis Remington 700 LA features a myriad of adjustments combined with a custom trigger by Timney that hooks into a precise patent-pending linkage. Trigger pull is crisp, as expected for a precision rifle, and even relocates the safety to the front of the chassis trigger guard/barricade stop. User adjustable pull weight and overtravel. Accepts both left or right-hand Remington 700 LA or clones with identical footprint, and converts rifle to use popular AICS mags. Weight is less than a standard chassis, at just over 4lbs. Uses standard AR15 grips for customization, and has MLOK slots, flush cups milled the chassis, along with an ARCA rail on bottom side of forend. 10-32 tapped holes in between MLOK slots for maximum versatility with common accessories. Integrated 20 MOA rail is built into the scope hood and action is easily installed and hooked to linkage with no gunsmithing necessary. Recoil lug slot is large enough for oversized lugs, or even a Switchlug. Chassis will also accept barrel nuts, or no contour barrels. For SBR or short barrel setups, most suppressors will fit inside the handguard. Optional bolt extension available to bring bolt handle forward allowing easy action manipulation while keeping the user’s head down on the adjustable cheekpiece.
